Kelsey opening a toy

We had ordered a toy for Kelsey online. She was very excited to get the mail and to open it up. What is in the box?
Yeah- it is some air packs. They are big fun. This is after she had already examined the paper from the box.
Ohh- it is a big teapot with things in it. Needed Daddy's help to open it
She was very excited to see that is it a princess set
Pouring some tea with her new set

Dancing with Daddy

Dancing the Freeze dance with Daddy
It is so much fun!
She loves to bounce while you are dancing
Time to freeze!

Some cute pictures

Kelsey riding her trike- she can't quite do it all by herself yet, but she loves practicing.
Running around the circle. She is running from Daddy who is going to tickle her.
Our sweet girl- only 23 months old!
Trying to be cute. We think it is working
Posing with Daddy- we learned to not tell her to say cheese

Kelsey swims in Clothes

For Kelsey to "graduate" out of swim lessons she had to prove that she could do it in clothes. One day she had to swim in her pajamas. In this video she had to swim in winter clothes- long pants, long shirts, sweatshirt, socks and shoes. She did great! She now knows to swim until she needs air, then roll over to float so she can rest and get air, then she swims again. She is to do this until somebody gets her or she gets to the side and can hold on. It is really neat to watch! And she learned all this in just 5 weeks! We are so proud of her.

First trip to a Florida beach

We went to St Pete's Beach for our first trip to a FL beach. It was only an hour away! The picture is foggy because the camera lens fogged up from being in the cool car, then out in the hot sun. Thought it made for a neat picture though.
It is amazing all the stuff you "need" to take to the beach. Luckily we found a beach cart to wheel everything. We even had a nice tent to sit under and give us some shade.
Kelsey loved the ocean water and playing with buckets and shovels.
Kelsey just plopped herself in the water and was digging away. She never wanted to get out.
Filling the bucket- this was a long process

Our New House

Here are some pictures of our lot where the new house will be built. As you can see it is a very deep lot. That tree will be gone though- we wanted it gone- yucky things were hanging from it and it would be about in the middle of our garage.
Kelsey enjoys running around on the lot
Mommy was able to snag her for a quick picture
This is the house to the right of us if you were looking at the house
Looking to the left. It is a nice flat road for Kelsey to bike ride on. Plus we are the farthest back road in the subdivision so there will not be much traffic!

Calling for Jewel

After every bath Kelsey wants Jewel to come up and "kiss" her toes. About a month ago she started to call for Jewel- we think it is one of the cutest sounds!
