Christmas with Grandpa/ma Laird

Kelsey enjoyed unwrapping gifts at Grandpa and Grandma Laird's. She liked the ribbon from the packages.

Kelsey was great at getting the presents from under the tree and delivering them- the only problem was that she wanted to unwrap them all!

New Table and Chairs

Kelsey and Jewel help open the box to one of Kelsey's early Christmas presents (we did not want to carry it to FL since that is where we will be)

It is a table and chair set. She loves sitting at it and coloring
Showing Daddy what she was making.

Visiting Santa

Kelsey's first visit to see Santa didn't go too well. She got so upset she would not sit on Santa's lap. Mommy had to sit with her and she still would not smile.
She was much happier in Macy's looking at all the trees.
She was even happier once we were home and she had her kitty
This is how she normally is- very smiley!

Kelsey's First Cruise!

We took a cruise over Thanksgiving to celebrate Amy's mom's 60th birthday. This is the picture they took when we got on the ship.

First stop- Lunch on the deck- Kelsey got Jello for the first time- she liked playing in it

First taste of the Jello- she liked it
Kelsey loved to walk the stairs on the ship

Miami in the background
Sunset as the ship was pulling out of port
Breakfast the next morning- we are in Freeport Bahamas
Our shore excursion was on a semi sub- we rode out of the top of the boat- then went under later to see the fish. Kelsey enjoyed the ride
Heading out to the open water

Down in the sub part- first thing we saw- a shark
Some of the plants and fish we saw- the pictures don't show it as clearly as we could see it
They sent a diver down with Wonder Bread to feed the fish to bring them right to the boat
Kelsey enjoyed watching the fish
Having fun

Back on the ship- watching kids in the pool. Kelsey could not go in since she is not potty trained yet.
Walking the deck with Grandma
Having a snack
Kelsey was kind enough to wake us early enough each morning to see the sunrise! :)
Our ship- our rooms were on this side at the very back
Inside the Atlantis Hotel in Nassau Bahamas

They have an aquarium in the hotel- Kelsey liked pointing out the fish
Posing for a picture- she went and did this on her own

More fish
Us with the Atlantis behind us- Kelsey is not in the picture because she fell asleep
On the rope bridge

Walking back to the ship- Kelsey woke up and had lots of energy!

The next morning- is this why she has so much energy? The bottle was empty before she got it- but we thought it was funny
They had fish all down the hallway and Kelsey would want to touch and count each one- it made for some long walks!
On the beach at Great Stirrup Cay in the Bahamas- Norwegian's private island. This was Kelsey's first steps in sand
She did not like walking in the sand
She was happy when we got to the water- even though it was a little cold at first

Yeah water!
Splashing in the ocean
Hanging with Daddy
Taking a break from the water
All worn out from all the fun- taking a nap at the beach
It was a great trip and we learned what a good traveler Kelsey is- we look forward to our next one!
